• What is sublimation?
    • Sublimation is the process by which Legacy Athletics places designs onto fabric. The process is very different from traditional screen printing, and allows us to incorporate any color or shade into super high quality, near photographic designs and logos.  The sublimation process allows for clear, precise designs that last through many washings without cracking or fading.
  • Can I use sublimation on any fabric?
    • There are a few limitations, as far as fabric choice, when choosing The area of fabric that lies directly under your design must be either white or grey, though you may apply any color you like to your actual logo or design.  Sublimation also works best on polyester and polyester blends.
  • Is there a minimum order quantity or cost at Legacy Athletics?
    • There is no minimum order quantity; but, we do recommend a minimum of 10 items to alleviate your shipping cost per unit.
  • How long is your “lead time” (the time it takes to receive the finished product once ordered)?
    • Once you have finished and approved your final artwork, or design, it will take from 2 to 4 weeks (depending on the size and type of your order) for your product to ship out from Legacy Athletics. Naturally, there is some variance in “lead time” for each order; please contact us directly for a better estimate for your specific order.  Rush delivery is available at an additional cost.
  • What shipping methods do you use, and how much does it cost?
    • Legacy Athletics prefers to ship with UPS; but, we are also open to use any shipping method our clients prefer. Shipping cost vary widely per order size.  Once you have determined the size/quantity of your order, we will provide you with a fair estimate of your projected shipping cost.
  • May I use my own artwork or design?
    • Yes, you may bring in any art or design you like. The finished art should be in Vector format.  Legacy Athletics also has a team of experienced and talented graphic artists and designers to help you turn your ideas into designs.  Whether you bring in your own, finished art or just an idea or sketch in your head, we will help you create and perfect any design.
  • What are your shop hours?
    • Legacy Athletics is open Monday through Fridays, from 9am to 6pm, PST.
  • Can my custom design be used by someone else?
    • Any custom design that you bring in, or create with our team, is yours and yours alone. Legacy Athletics will not retain your design or the right to replicate your design in the future.  This policy applies to all original artwork; Legacy Athletics cannot replicate original artwork/designs, without the explicit consent of its owner.
  • How long does it take to obtain a “mockup” of my design or artwork?
    • Legacy Athletics has a 24 to 48 hour turnaround policy on “mockups.”
